Car Insurance 19 years old question?

If not, what other options do I have? I’ve did some researching on quotes and I will have to pay like over $2000 every 6 months if its in my name but WAY less if its in theirs. if the car is in your name, then the insurance needs to be in your name. What you could do is added it to your parents policy, and just be added as an additional insured. But before you do anything, check with the insurance company to make sure you can do that.

Honestly, you can have it put in your parents name, it’s not illegal! I do it for young drivers all the time. You do need to be on their policy as a driver though.

Wow… you call 4000 a year a lot? Here in Toronto we pay a good 10000 each year for car insurance.. By we i mean teens… I think by going under ur parents name, it would be better but you just have to be very careful as to not to get into any accidents or they get f**ked..
