try Progressive….they seem to have ok rates for SR22 holders

Yep! Unfortunate but insurance companies consider sr22 insurance as very high risk and the rates are higher. However, it really is very unfair. All the insurance company has to do is fax the policy to the state and inform them if a sr22 driver isn’t covered any longer. Check the rates from. I was able to pay an additional $118 for my policy to get sr22 insurance and it really wasn’t that expensive. Be sure to inform your insurance company when you no longer have to have the sr22 insurance to have them drop it from your coverage.
