Good luck on getting car insurance by yourself. My daughter is 17 and we couldn’t get any price quotes without an adult on her policy. She owns her own car that she bought for herself but we had to put the car insurance in my name first and then her name second. We went to and were able to get car insurance for about $70 per month. She was happy and so was I. The insurance payment comes out of my checking account each month and she just gives me the money to put in my account. But if you have your own checking account you should be able to have it taken from there.

Insurance is very individual because it’s based on personal record, sex, age, and a number of other variables such as location, credit rating etc
